The Pakistan Air Force permits candidates deemed medically unfit for flying to endure standard medical examinations as regular candidates if they wish to pursue entry into another branch of the armed forces.
• Declared medically incapacitated due to Hepatitis B and C (unable to submit an AMB request).
• Dismissed from any college or military institution.
• Any withdrawal, discharge, resignation, or purchase of commission from a military academy or training establishment.
• To gain an undue advantage, any applicant who falsifies, alters, or conceals their academic credentials shall be permanently disqualified from receiving any form of commission in the Armed Forces.
• A candidate who tests positive for narcotics at CMHs, Military Hospitals, or AFIP is permanently disqualified from joining PMAs or Training Institutions.

Coaches preparing candidates for ISSB examinations often produce a variety of personality traits that are contradictory and negatively influence the likelihood of selection. Candidates who have undergone training at a private coaching center shall be disqualified from applying for commissions.

• The Preliminary Selection process is not obligatory for international applicants. Nevertheless, Defense Attaches will assess their overall suitability, speech impediments, and physical deformities.
