Griffith University International Scholarship 2026–2027

Griffith University International Scholarship 2026–2027 International students starting undergraduate or graduate degrees at Griffith University in 2026 and 2027 will receive a 50% tuition fee reduction. This scholarship, which is offered at the university’s Gold Coast and Brisbane campuses, is among the biggest partial-tuition grants in Australia’s higher education system.

The financial benefit is substantial for overseas students choosing Australia over Europe, North America, or East Asia. A 50% scholarship lowers the annual tuition for international coursework students at Griffith from the usual range of AUD 30,000–40,000 to AUD 15,000–20,000. At a price equivalent to mid-ranked universities in Germany or the Netherlands, students receive an English-language degree with access to Australia’s post-study work visa pathway.

What the Scholarship Covers:

According to the student’s letter of offer, the Griffith Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship pays 50% of tuition for the duration of the regular program, less any prior study credits. Every trimester, the reduction is applicable prior to the census date. The remaining amount must be paid by the same date by the students.

Important: Living expenses, lodging, health insurance, and travel, which can add up to AUD 20,000–25,000 a year, are not covered by the scholarship. It only applies to full-time, on-campus courses. The Masters Qualifying Program, online courses, Study Abroad, non-award enrollments, diploma paths, research degrees, and the MBA (code 5158) are not included. Part-time studies and partner programs are also not eligible.
